As a child, I always had the drive to build.

I had lemondade stands and sold charm bracelets, and told my mother I wanted to pursue business.

In 2014, right before transferring to business school, I had taken computer science 101 on a whim & loved it.

There started my path through tech.

Engineering brought on many challenges.

Particularly, I found myself wondering why I was building this code and more importantly

for who?

I started attending more product design meetings on my team and learned of a new path.

I joined the design systems team and learned quickly on the job while shadowing senior designers.

One day, a senior designer suddenly stepped away from a major project: developing landscape orientation patterns to be followed by all of Chase's mobile designers.

I decided to fill in that gap,

and people noticed.

The next few years, I worked on and lead a myriad of projects on different teams.

I've learned the most durable design decisions are built on user-centricity, stakeholder alignment, and measurable data.

Every project reinforced that designing at scale means designing for people you'll never meet, and systems you can't fully control.

So I center around my design philosophies before I dive into any problem.
